1When I walk the streets of a town,
Many, or countless faces walk up and down.
They smile, They cry. They look or don't,
Yet I still see a life they lived, and I won't.
2It's exciting. Quite thrilling to say the least,
That in every person I see, meet or don't, lies a beast.
With eyes that have seen what my eyes shall not,
And ears that have heard beautiful tales of mud.
3Though your story my dear, I heard and saw
With open eyes I listened and flying arms I joined,
A lovely ride, a happy life, together with you, love.
But now, on the street you walk by, and I wish I had joined.
